FASD Ireland - Our first national conference on 22nd May 2025

Our first ever FASD Conference in Ireland - "FASD in Ireland" brought together over 200 parents, carers and professionals under one roof to hear from respected speakers who are working hard to develop services and supports for people who are living with FASD in Ireland. The input from a number of our Team and Advisory Board, as well as others who we hadn't worked with before meant we were able to deliver a number of Break Out Sessions. SAFFrance contributed on the day with a presentation from Dr Denis Lamblin (available above) and a panel discussion with French MP Perceval Gaillard and Cathal Crowe TD.

Clare TD, Deputy Cathal Crowe, stopped into the conference on the day between Dublin and constituency meetings to show support.

Clinical Psychologist Dr Suzanne McMahon, Waves Wellbeing, reflected on the conference before driving home, and posted this reel on instagram.
